The HeDBAF cannot substitute in any way detailed studies for the identification or characterization of active/seismic faults for specific sites, particularly for the design of critical or strategic infrastructure, or for civil protection plans or land management of specific territories. Neither the managers, nor the compilers of the collaborating institutes are responsible in any case, neither directly nor indirectly, of the consequences that could derive from the use of the HeDBAF. Conclusions drawn from this geodatabase, or actions undertaken on the basis of its contents, are the sole responsibility of the user. The database is always updatable and upgradeable, and as such it is open to later additions and improvements.
